Akame Onsen Secret Onsen TAISENKAKU (Mie prefecture)
“TAISENKAKU” is a historical ryokan lodging established in the early years of Meiji-era. (around 1900). It is located nearby Akame Shiju-hachi Taki waterfall, one of Top 100 waterfalls in Japan, in Akame Onsen area. You can enjoy onsen in the open-air bath surrounded by mountains of the region and the lodging provides gorgeous local cuisine using many locally harvested ingredients.

Okuhida Onsen-gou Yamasato no Iosri SOENE (Gifu prefecture)
It’s a ryokan lodging in Fukuchi Onsen district with secret onsen. This lodging is a renovated Kominka (old folk house) of 160 years old with the local architectural style, Hida-zukuri. The building is a registered national tangible cultural asset. There are three types of open-air onsen from all of them you get to view the whole landscape of the mountains of Fukuchi, and there is a foot-bath room filled with minus ion. They serve local cuisine using various local ingredients including Hida Beef.
